Peter has over twenty-five years’ expertise in the measurement, education and linkage between leadership behaviour, culture, and engagement of business performance. He has built employee engagement, organisational development, learning and development, cultural change and service strategies within the private, public, and third sectors.
Peter’s background was initially in retail, where he progressed to senior operational management roles for an international retailer. He then moved into project based and generalist HR and senior organisational development roles in various sectors.
Peter’s unique background, which includes standing in the shoes of both operations and diverse people development roles, enables him to deliver impactful behavioural, cultural, and performance change through one-on-one, team, and organisational coaching and facilitation.
Peter has particular specialism in employee engagement, organisational culture, communication skills, organisational development and leadership behaviour. Peter is an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation and the Institute of Leadership and Management, holds a level 1 MBA and is accredited to use several profiling and development tools including MBTI, FIRO -B, VoicePrint and The Emotional Culture Deck.
Peter believes that the key to creating successful, engaging and sustainable change is through coaching, supporting individuals and teams to uncover the skills, knowledge and confidence to take the ‘employee’ out and put the ‘person’ back in.
