Lesley Gosling


Lesley is both a founding director and has been the Managing Director of Q. Learning for the first 14 years before becoming Chair, then at the end of 2016 returned to being the joint Managing Director with Karen Cove. Lesley is responsible for ensuring that the Company understands its mission and breathes its values, always remembering its stakeholders. Her role has included working with top management teams and boards of directors for decades and she daily aspires to practise what she has taught!

Lesley continues as a consultant, coaching Directors and Senior Managers, working with Boards and Management Teams, speaking at conferences, and leading Assessment Centres for recruitment of the right top people… and networking world-wide to ensure that Q. Learning’s products continue to provide leading edge solutions for customers.

As a consultant since 1984, Lesley has worked with many organisations from both the public and private sectors including IT and technology companies (ORACLE, Orange), several Strategic Health Authorities, PCTs/ FTs etc and Local Authorities of all sorts, financial sector (Lloyds, HSBC), production (ALTRO, Tetrapak), charities (NSPCC, St John Ambulance), housing, retail, publishing, PR and leisure.

Lesley writes articles for training journals and is the author of the book ‘Be Your Best Teamplayer and Beyond’ published in the Q. Learning series by Hodder (and is the Series Editor) and was the original creator of the Leadership Diagnostic Tool (now Leaderhip Identities). She has studied leading-edge technologies including NLP (Master Practitioner), Group Analytic Psychotherapy, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Spiral Dynamics and MBTI.
