As Managing Director and Consultant with Q. Learning, Karen specialises in energising and motivating organisations, teams and individuals to achieve their goals. Working on a 1:1, with teams, across whole organisations and within Alliances and Joint Ventures this work involves coaching and facilitating people so that they are able to develop a clear vision with the self belief, motivation and knowledge to make it happen. She has also been involved in the design, facilitation and delivery of large scale events and conferences. She enables people to be more aware of the skills they have and feel more confident about using them and developing them still further so that they can influence and work successfully with others.
Karen manages Q. Learning’s largest consultancy projects and has helped many organisations in the engineering, construction, manufacturing, health service, local government, police force, telecoms and financial sectors change direction, implement changes and increase success. She has experience in working at all levels from Executive Teams to managers and staff.
Karen has a passion for working with alliances and joint ventures; facilitating and supporting them to work more effectively and successfully as integrated businesses. She has spent a great deal of time supporting, coaching and preparing alliance/ joint venture teams involved in bidding for multi million pound work programmes in the Utilities. This interest and expertise has lead to the development of Q. Learning’s Partnership Model, on-line Partnership Health Check and Partnership Planning Profile ( in partnership with Avenue Management ).
Karen is an NLP Master Practitioner, an ANLP member & recognised NLP Trainer, approved by the ILM for facilitation of their Coaching and Mentoring Programmes, an ILM Fellow and accredited in the use of Emotional Intelligence tools.
