Marion Fanthorpe

Marion has 20 years’ experience in senior internal OD and HR roles including six years gained at executive board level, and eight years in management consultancy. Marion has deep expertise in organisational and cultural change, leadership development and talent management. Marion has experience in a broad range of organisations including in local government, police and higher education.

Whether working inside or alongside organisations Marion has been instrumental in initiating and seeing through major change. She has worked in organisations where new operating models, new technology and new processes have been fundamental to improving customer service and reducing costs, and she had led on all the people aspects of these changes. This ranges from restructuring and resourcing, creating new teams, developing talent and creating the right culture to enable them to succeed.

Marion’s personal experience as a senior executive has given her real insight into the opportunities and challenges in rapidly changing and pressurised environments can bring, and she has harnessed this to be able to consult to and coach others so they make the best decisions for themselves. Marion creates thinking space and clarity so leaders can look into their issues with a calm mind and find the wisdom and courage to act.

Marion is a highly skilled coach and facilitator and she has extensive knowledge of leadership and change research and practice. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, and an accredited ILM Level 7 Executive Coach and Mentor.
