Andy Fryer

Andy works with senior leaders and leadership teams to help them become more effective.

In doing this he is able to draw on over four decades as a practitioner, including senior positions in the British Armed Forces and NATO, and more recently in both commercial and third sector organisations.  This work has taken him all over the globe, and typically involved managing complex stakeholder relationships in dynamic, ambiguous environments – at times under significant stress.

His more recent work has been as a consultant and executive coach, working with a wide range of clients, including the House of Commons, BAE Systems, Prudential Insurance and the NHS. Andy is able to bring together his experience as a senior leader with a range of coaching and academic approaches to help those in leadership positions, or destined for them, to develop a significantly better understanding of themselves and how they impact on those around them. He uses this raised awareness as a platform to drive the changes needed to build more effective and authentic leadership behaviours.

Andy holds an MBA, an honors degree in psychology, is a Fellow on the ILM and member of the British Psychological Society.  He is also midway through a masters in Coaching and Development with Portsmouth University.
